François Bovier is a research fellow at the Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL) and a lecturer and researcher at the Section dâhistoire et esthĂ©tique du cinĂ©ma at the University of Lausanne (UNIL). He is the co-founder of the film review DĂ©cadrages and co-publisher of the PlanSĂ©cant collection. He is the author of H. D. et le groupe Pool : des avant-gardes littĂ©raires au cinĂ©ma âvisionnaireâ and has published numerous articles on experimental cinema, artistsâ films, militant cinema and video art in specialized magazines and collective works. He is also an independent curator, particularly in the field of the moving image.
