
At the Service Desk reception desk, building MA A0393, EPFL members can borrow a 16″ MacBook Pro to work on the Écublens campus between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
If you are an EPFL student, you are eligible for a laptop loan under certain conditions:
- You have purchased a computer from the catalog offer, but you are still waiting for the order.
- You have sent your computer for repair.
- Your computer has been stolen, and you need one to work while waiting to buy a new one.
- It is exam period, and you find yourself without a functional computer.
At the Service Desk reception desk, building MA A0393, EPFL members can borrow various types of accessories (non-exhaustive list) for one business day:
- Laptop chargers for Apple, HP, and Lenovo
- Smartphone chargers
- Screen adapters (HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, DVI, etc.)
- Mice
FAQ
I would like to have a specific configuration for my laptop request for the event ?
You can specify your comments in the request form field, and we reserve the right to approve or deny them.
My event is in less than a week; can I still make a request?
The form will not allow you to make the request.
However, depending on the availability of current stock and ongoing events, you can still try to submit a request by entering fictitious dates (please provide the correct dates in the comments). We reserve the right to approve or deny the request.
Can I install any software on the daily loan MacBooks?
No other software can be installed.
The data will be deleted after logout.
To be returned before 6 PM.
