
To help extend the lifespan of mobile phones, a cost-price repair service is available on campus every day from 12:10 p.m. to 2:10 p.m. at the Service Desk in the Poséidon premises, MA A0 393.
The Point Smart welcomes members of the EPFL community to the Poséidon space to encourage mobile phone repairs on campus. Based on the same model as the Point Vélo, repairs are carried out by student assistants at cost price: only replacement parts are charged.

How it works
The Smart Point operates:
- Repairs: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:10 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Appointments: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:10 p.m. to 2:10 p.m.
- Location: Building MA A0 393 (Poséidon premises)
- Important: Anyone who misses their appointment will need to book a new one.
Booking an Appointment
Appointments can be booked through the ServiceNow platform using your GASPAR login, or via a QR code available at the EPFL Service Desk.
Point Smart from July to August:
Point Smart will be closed during the exam and revision periods. It will reopen in a reduced mode over the summer (two days per week).
You can access the service on the following dates:
July: 09.07 / 11.07 / 16.07 / 18.07 / 23.07 / 25.07 / 30.07
August: 06.08
Regular service will resume with the start of the academic year in September.
- Diagnosis: A 15-minute diagnostic is carried out during the first appointment. If the repair is accepted, the phone will be serviced the same day (whenever possible) and can be picked up between 2:10 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. If additional time is required, the owner will be informed.
- Payment: Payment is made on-site via Camipro only. A summary of the repair will be included in the ServiceNow ticket.
- Important: Please back up your personal data before the repair. EPFL declines all responsibility in case of data loss.
